ici NYC photos

Last night's party at Libation was a success. Thank you to all the organizers and sponsors. I was disappointed not to meet all of the organizers. I missed the design duo behind Delano Collection and Remy Chevalier, but you can visit their sites and see what they are up to.

Two of the event organizers Summer Rayne Oakes and Josh Dorfman, you can hear more about them and some of the other guests on the "all the party pictures" page.

Here I am with fellow green creatives Harris and Carmel. Learn more about their companies when you look at all of the photographs here. We had a lot of fun and I am not sure I needed that last glass of wine. DJ Ing (Learned Evolution) inspired me to break out in a krump dance. I guess I shouldn't have watched David LaChappelle's genius film Rize right before leaving the house. (Note to self: you cannot krump.... but you can try) The umbrella dress had it's first outing and it seemed to go over well. The initial reaction was to reach out and touch it, so I ended up getting politely groped all night... all in the name of the environment, of course. See all of the photos here and Remy's photos here.

Reused: silver sweater, vintage shoes, antique blue topaz ring, bracelet (that beautiful one you saw New Year's Eve, the first piece of jewelry my father gave my mother, so very special to me.)
Recycled: crocheted cloth necklace, umbrella dress.
New: stockings.

addendum: ripped this from the ici-nyc site. dress looks much better without that sweater, almost like Carmel's silk top!! and it's spill proof!
