I started working with ecological material already in 2002, and I always try to have as much as I can find in my collections. If I can't find organic produced material (that suits my collection for the season) I at least try to have some kind of labeling on the textiles I work with. Like oeko-tex standard, which means that the process of the weving and dying is done under regulations. I produce the garnments in Estonia which gives me the possibility to also check the factorys for work conditions, and sicne it's so close to Sweden it makes the transports much easier and more environment friendly as well.
