Del Forte Denim
Just a reminder that Del Forte Denim is now in stores. Tierra Del Forte built her expertise in denim while working for Mudd jeans and Younique Clothing. During her years at these companies she worked with several domestic and international garment factories. Visiting the factories opened her eyes to the destructive impact that the fashion industry has on the environment and the people who make the clothing. She founded Del Forte Denim in 2005. The jeans are made from organic cotton that is grown, milled, cut and sewn all in the U.S. Tierra has partnered with The Sustainable Cotton Project and donates a portion of her proceeds to the organization which builds bridges between farmers, manufacturers and consumers. The jeans are available at Gomi in NYC and they will have a denim bar at this weekend's Walk the Talk in San Francisco.

(off topic) Just an FYI -- I find the linked words rather difficult to read, cuz they're such a light gray -- Any way you could make 'em a lil darker?
