leather and beyond
Awhile back a reader wrote in to ask me about leather. Now Lucy Siegle of the UK's Observer weighs in and offers up vegan options like the fabric handmade Beyond Skin shoes above and fiftyRX3 fave Terra Plana, that utilizes sewn construction and vegetable tanned leather. Beyond Skin will also soon be launching 'Revival', a shoe collection utilizing vintage textiles.
